Familiar with Lowe from research that culminated in a biography about his granddaughter Florence Lowe Barnes, aka Pancho, Michael increased my knowledge 10-fold. His exhibit on Lowe featured items never seen by the public before. One item most intriguing was a pair of leather gloves Lowe wore to the White House to meet President Lincoln.
The exhibits will be on displayed until September 20, 2015. For more information - pasadenahistory.org
Michael will soon be opening the Preservation Society’s own museum. It should be spectacular knowing the thousands of items Michael has collected over the years related to Lowe. Visit the society’s site for further information. www.mountlowe.org
