The Hutchinson family received offers of Broadway vaudeville performances, pictures on Wheaties boxes, and a radio show sponsored by Davis. Colonel George Hutchinson, his wife Blanche, and daughters Kathryn and Janet eagerly accepted the all. The venues enable them to promote flying as a safe and reliable mode of transportation. Their NBC radio show, billed as the Flying Family, aired every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:30. More information is available in my book, Endorsed by Earhart.
